1. Our Commitment
Zonitel Solutions LLC ("Zonitel") is committed to ensuring that its website, web application, and digital communications tools are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to business communication technology, and we strive to provide an inclusive experience across our products and services.
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments. We also aim to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and applicable state accessibility laws.
2. Scope
This accessibility statement applies to:
- zonitel.com — the Zonitel public-facing website
- The Zonitel web portal — the customer-facing dashboard and management interface accessed after login
- Zonitel mobile applications — iOS and Android apps for business communications
- The Zonitel Click to Call Chrome Extension — the browser extension available in the Chrome Web Store
Third-party services integrated with or linked from Zonitel's platform (such as payment processors, CRM integrations, or carrier portals) are governed by their own accessibility policies.
3. Current Accessibility Features
Zonitel has implemented or is actively working to implement the following accessibility features across its digital properties:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements on zonitel.com can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse.
- Screen reader compatibility: We use semantic HTML elements, ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmark roles, and descriptive labels to support screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Resizable text: Text can be resized up to 200% using browser zoom settings without loss of content or functionality.
- Alt text for images: Non-decorative images include descriptive alternative text so that screen readers can convey the meaning of visual content.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus rings are maintained on interactive elements to assist users navigating by keyboard.
- No seizure triggers: Zonitel does not use flashing animations that exceed three flashes per second, in compliance with WCAG 2.3.1.
- Descriptive link text: Links are written to be meaningful out of context (e.g., "View Privacy Policy" rather than "click here").
- Form labels: All form fields include associated visible labels or ARIA labels.
- Captions & transcripts: Video content published on zonitel.com includes closed captions. Audio-only content includes transcripts where feasible.
4. Known Limitations
We continuously audit and improve our digital properties for accessibility. However, some portions of our platform may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known areas we are actively working to improve include:
- Some legacy PDF documents linked from the website may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate or replace these with accessible alternatives.
- Certain third-party embedded components (such as live chat widgets or third-party video players) may have accessibility limitations outside of Zonitel's direct control. We are working with those vendors to improve conformance.
- Dynamic content in the customer portal loaded via JavaScript may have partial ARIA support that we are actively improving.
If you encounter any specific barrier that prevents you from using a Zonitel digital property, please contact us using the information in Section 6 below. We will provide the information or service through an alternative accessible means.
5. Telecommunications Accessibility
As a provider of telecommunications and VoIP services, Zonitel is subject to FCC accessibility rules under Section 255 of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. § 255) and Section 716 of the Communications Act (as amended by the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act, "CVAA"). These rules require that our products and services be accessible to and usable by individuals with disabilities, where readily achievable.
Our telecommunications accessibility commitments include:
- TTY/TDD compatibility: Zonitel's platform supports TTY (text telephone) communications where technically feasible through our carrier interconnections.
- IP Relay and Video Relay Services (IP Relay/VRS): Zonitel's SIP-based platform is designed to be compatible with relay service providers for users who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech disabilities.
- Accessible customer support: Our support team is trained to provide accommodations for customers who communicate through relay services, email, or alternative communication methods.
- FCC Contact: If you have concerns about Zonitel's compliance with FCC accessibility rules, you may also file a complaint with the FCC at fcc.gov.
