PDF Conversion & Compression
Prepare documents in Office: convert supported files into one PDF or compress an image-heavy PDF before sending it.
Convert up to 10 files totaling 30 MB into a single PDF in the displayed order. Compression accepts one PDF up to 30 MB, with three quality choices. Text-only PDFs may not become smaller; review the result before using it.
Open Fax → PDF tools in Office. Preparing a PDF does not send a fax; sending is a separate action.

Do I need a fax machine to use Zonitel Digital Fax?
No. Send faxes from the Office web portal and receive them in your online fax inbox, which you can also check in the Zonitel mobile app. No fax machine or dedicated phone line is required. Faxes are delivered as PDF to your email or the portal.
Is Zonitel Digital Fax HIPAA compliant?
Zonitel offers HIPAA-eligible digital fax configurations and a Business Associate Agreement for qualifying healthcare customers. HIPAA compliance is a shared responsibility and depends on the customer's configuration and operating practices.
Can I keep my existing fax number?
Yes. You can port your existing fax number to Zonitel so patients, clients, and partners can continue using the same number they already have on file.
Can I send faxes to multiple recipients at once?
Yes. Add more recipients with Add recipient or pick saved fax contacts. The same fax is sent individually to each recipient, and each one shows its own Sent or Failed result.
How do I send a fax with Zonitel?
In the Office web portal, open Fax → Send fax, choose the sending line, enter the recipient's fax number and attach up to 6 files (up to 30 MB each). A cover page is added automatically. After sending, check each recipient's result in Fax → Sent. You can also receive faxes directly in your email as PDF attachments.
Can I send a fax by email?
Yes. Email-to-fax is available and is set up from the Office client portal.
Can I send faxes from the mobile app?
The Zonitel mobile app shows your received and sent faxes and your fax lines' number and email. To send a new fax, use the Office web portal or email-to-fax.
